Life is too damn busy these days. I dream of summer, of when I have time to think, to play, to surf the internet, to be something other than Mom-Teacher-Worker. C'est la vie.
Mr. 13, now 6 foot 2, shows off the homemade sourdough loaf he made by himself... including the sourdough starter! He decided he would like to be a professional chef. I approve.
Ramses can't wait for summer!
Mr. 11 has a grouchy moment in Santa Fe.
Mmmmm! Homemade Polish donuts!

We are ready for summer too. We can't wait to get out to New Mexico. You and the boys have a standing invitation any time we are out there. We would love to get together. The boys are getting so big.....they are men. Tell Nuevo Mexico hola for us.

Wow! Your own personal chef! And what good looking young men you have raised!
ok the donuts look yummy! Gonna share your recipe?!? How is the paperback version of your book coming? Here in Portland, Oregon it has snowed a few times. The 27-29th of March! That is crazy for here. I am ready for summer. I want to plant my garden.
Take care and take some time for you!!!!

OMG, Birdie -- you must have every girl between the ages of 11-16 beating down your door to connect with that kid. What a hunk!
11 is still entirely adorable as well (and still glued to his beloved comics, I see).
And I have to ask...does Ramses say "I missed you!" every time you walk in the door?
I second the request for that polish donuts recipe.
And I'm thinking you should install one of those "countdown clocks" on your site -- timed to the very second for your last day of school in June. On second thought, not sure if that would be encouraging or depressing!
Hang in there, Kiddo. We'll all still be here when you've had about a two-week nap to recover from these past 9 months!

To be honest, I think I too am ready for Summer, and for things to settle down at the new job, and for things to finally kick over in our direction for a change! So if it makes you feel better Birdie, I know exactly how you feel.
And I thought working with DMS in Daytona was bad!!!!
